CANBERRA: Creating safer places of worship

  • Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture (map)

Do join us this Wednesday, 27/09/2017 at 1800-2000 (6 pm - 8 pm) for an interfaith event! Entitled "Creating safer places of worship: being true to ourselves in community", this event will be held at the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture, 15 Kings Ave & Blackall St, Barton ACT. There will be a key note talk by Catholic theologian Fr James Alison on LGBTIQ believers as first person faith narrators. Following that there will be a panel discussion (of which Muslim Collective's very own Natasha will be a part of!) on institutional safety and inclusive practice, with representatives from a range of faith traditions and personal perspectives. See more details at the Facebook event page here!
