MELBOURNE: Quran Discussion Group

  • Level 3, Donkey Wheel House 673 Bourke Street Melbourne, VIC, 3000 Australia (map)

The Quran Discussion Group is for Muslims and non-Muslims who are interested in discussing the message of the Quran in an open, thoughtful and non-judgemental way. We are seeking to explore and deepen our understanding of Islam and the way it is interpreted today through critical engagement with the text. Muslim Collective is an inclusive group, everyone is welcome: muslims, non-muslims, ex-muslims - we don't discriminate or segregate.

At each session we try to focus on a particular theme or verse to help guide the discussion. You can find a useful translation to the Quran here:
http://muhammad-asad.com/Message-of-Quran.pdf (http://www.progressivemuslims.org/quran.pdf)

We ask all non members to contribute $5 to help cover the cost of room rental. Muslim Collective Members are free.

Hope to see you there!

In peace & unity,
Melbourne Muslim Collective
